Your Future
The majority of my adult life has been spent in higher education. I have been a California Community College Counselor for the past 25 years. In addition, I taught psychology courses at Butte College and both undergraduate and graduate-level courses in counseling psychology at California State University, Chico.
As a college counselor, I am very familiar with the process involved in helping students get into some of the most competitive schools in California and beyond. I assist students with the transfer process from community college to a 4-year university, as well as the application process for freshmen.
In addition to my work as a College Counselor, I am the parent of two sons who graduated from the UC system; one from UC Berkeley and the other from UC Santa Cruz. My oldest son is currently finishing a Master’s Degree at an Ivy League school on the East Coast.

- Assistance with completing applications, including essay feedback
- Personal statement assistance
- Evaluation of high school and college transcripts, AP and IB scores
- Dates and deadlines for application submission, transcripts, intent to register
- The Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) for the UC system
- Educational plans for mapping out necessary coursework
- Major-specific and General Education requirements
Fee
My fees for college counseling are based on my regular hourly rate. We can discuss how best to meet your academic goals in a brief consultation prior to our first meeting.
